Since we began worshiping on Saturday nights at the founding priest's home in Sienna Plantation in July 1999, St. Catherine's has grown and flourished! We quickly moved from our priest's living room to a storefront location on Cartwright Road in Missouri City, holding our first service there on Palm Sunday of 2000. Sadly, our founding priest, the Reverend Vincent Uher, suffered from some medical complications that forced his resignation from active ministry shortly after our storefront move. God blessed us with an incredible interim priest, Father Karl Choate, who led the faithful people of St. Catherine's during a time of transition.
In June 2001, the Reverend Stacey Fussell accepted the call to St. Catherine's and led us for 8 glorious years. During her ministry the church grew to the point that it became necessary to purchase a large piece of property in Sienna Plantation. It wasn't long before we were dedicating our new building in 2006! After Mother Stacey's departure in January of 2010, the Reverend Lacy Largent served as interim during another important time of transition.

In November of 2010 we welcomed our new priest, Father Mike Besson. St. Catherine's continues to grow under his leadership! Our average Sunday attendance is around 200 each week, and there are some new and exciting opportunities to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ!!

On February 9th, 2013, St. Catherine's realized it's dream of moving from "mission church" to "parish church". This meant that our church was now fully self sustaining! Here is a picture of our congregation standing before Diocesan Council to celebrate this big event! We know that there is nothing that God cannot do when we act on our faith!!!
